[14a-B508-5] X-ray Differential Phase Imaging and Phase CT Using Foucault Knife Edge and Diffuser Plate
Keywords:x-ray microscope, phase-contrast, tomography
An x-ray differential phase-contrast microscope was assembled at the synchrotron radiation facility of the Photon Factory BL3C. This microscope consists of a diffuser of a SiC #1200 abrasive paper, an objective zone plate, and a Foucault knife-edge. The diffuser was used to enlarge the focused x-ray size at the back focal plane of the zone plate. Using the diffuser, a differential phase image could be obtained without scanning the knife-edge like our previous report. Phase CT images of an iron meteorite (Agoudal) were observed at 7 keV with good contrast.
