Graphene/hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) moiré superlattices, in which each layer is aligned with a same crystallographic axis, are attracting attention because they are compelling system to study fundamental condensed matter physics and to be applied for low power consumption devices. So far, exotic quantum transport properties have been studied in this superlattice, but the single-electron transport have been less investigated. Here, we demonstrate the single carrier transport properties in the superlattice by realizing high-quality bilayer graphene/hBN superlattice-based double quantum dot devices.
