Keywords:light-sectioning method, light scattering

Much effort has been made to develop inner-shape measurement systems based on light-sectioning methods using circular light sheets (ring beam), and reaches a practical level for specific measurement targets. However there is room to consider how accurate the measurement is in the case that the measurement targets are small and non-cylindrical. In this study, the measurement using the ring beam device and the evaluation of the accuracy were carried out using a small probing device and measurement targets with multi-stage conical and rectangular inner shapes.
