One of the themes that have been actively researched on electromagnetic wave control using metamaterials is to enhance nonlinear effects using electric field enhancement in metamaterials. The purpose of this research is to generate microplasma by low power electromagnetic waves using meta surface. Therefore, in order to obtain a larger electric field enhancement, the sharpening of the capacitor structure on the resonant meta surface was performed. As a result, we were possible to generate microplasma with low power.
