We have developed flexible sensors for a pressure mapping based on organic piezoelectric material, Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF). In this study, we tried to detect pressure changes in each a one-dimensional direction or a two-dimensional plane, using various types of pressure mapping sensors with novel structures based on PVDF films formed by a simple solution-based method. We will also report on the results of detailed analysis of the output characteristics obtained from the mapping sensors we fabricated.
