[15a-D221-6] Synthesis of graphitic carbon nitride under low ammonia partial pressure

Graphitic carbon nitride which called as g-C3N4 is composed just of carbon and nitrogen and has a characteristic stacked two-dimensional network. The band gap of g-C3N4 is larger than redox potential of water, so that it is supposed to generate hydrogen by water splitting. We have been trying to synthesize g-C3N4 under various ammonia partial pressure and found the products are obviously different from melon, products which we have gained until today, in the point of view of molecule structure or electronic structure.
