The authors suggested theoretically, a hybrid trapped magnet lens (HTFML), which can quasi-permanently generate a concentrated field higher than the external applied field from the magnetizing coil from a combination of the trapped field by the vortex pinning effect of the outer cylinder and the diamagnetic lens effect of the inner magnetic lens, and then verified that experimentally. In this study, the magnetic property of the HTFML is introduced based on both numerical and experimental results, showing the HTFML would, for example, be applicable for magnetic separation as a strong magnet, that can realize ultra-high field force of 3,000 T2/m. The HTFML is also superior from a compact, mobile, and sass productivity; hence, it is expected that this new magnet could encourage the wide use of high magnetic field.
