Keywords:nanobubble, nuclear magnetic resonance, spin-lattice relaxation time

The spin-lattice relaxation time (T1) of light hydrogen nuclei were measured in nanobubble (NB) solutions of nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide and their solvent, heavy water, using the inverted iteration method. As a result, a decrease of T1 was found in the NB solution. This decrease in T1 suggests that the mobility of the light hydrogen nuclei is reduced by the inclusion of NB, which may be due to the presence of a layer of crystallized water (interfacial water) near the NB interface, thereby reducing the mobility of the nuclei.
