[10a-N406-7] Preparation and thermoelectric properties of crack-free melt-grown Zn4Sb3

Zn4Sb3 is one of the potential thermoelectric (TE) materials. In this study, we prepared Zn4Sb3 samples by melting and subsquent heating. During the heating process, Zn atoms of Zn and Zn3Sb2 impurities intercalated into interstitial Zn site in Zn4Sb3, leading to the disapperance of both impurities and cracks. In the meeting, TE properties of the melt-grown Zn4Sb3 samples will be presented and discussed in relation with their crystal structure and microstructure.
