[10a-N406-7] Preparation and thermoelectric properties of crack-free melt-grown Zn₄Sb₃

Zn₄Sb₃ is one of the potential thermoelectric (TE) materials. In this study, we prepared Zn₄Sb₃ samples by melting and subsquent heating. During the heating process, Zn atoms of Zn and Zn₃Sb₂ impurities intercalated into interstitial Zn site in Zn₄Sb₃, leading to the disapperance of both impurities and cracks. In the meeting, TE properties of the melt-grown Zn₄Sb₃ samples will be presented and discussed in relation with their crystal structure and microstructure.
