Keywords:exchange bias, double-perovskite-type oxide

Exchange bias is widely used such as magnetic heads of HDD. Recently, an extremely large exchange bias has been discovered in a sintered polycrystalline of double-perovskite-type A2MnCoO6 in which the B site has a ordered rock-salt-type structure, but the origin is still unknown. In this study, we assumed that the origin is in the B antisite defect, and grew La2MnCoO6 thin films by using PLD method that can control the B antisite defect in a non-equilibrium way to clarify the origin of this giant exchange bias.
