[10p-N103-16] Investigation of laser wireless power transmission using InGaP/InGaAs/Ge 3-junction solar cell

Recently, automobiles with high efficient multi-junction solar cells have been tested on the actual road.However, it is difficult to charge the batteries in a rainy day.Therefore, we investigated the charging system by using optical wireless power transmission.In this study, conversion efficiency was measured by irradiating a 3-junction solar cell with three laser beams having optical wavelengths suitable for the materials of each subcell.InGaP/InGaAs/Ge solar cell was simultaneously irradiated with three lasers of 633 nm,850 nm ,and 1550 nm. In a result, we obtained a conversion efficiency of 32.2 %.
