Flux method is a kind of crystal growth process from liquid phase. In our research institute, we have been focusing on the flux growth of various highly crystalline materials. The flux method is a suitable process for the growth of oxide crystal particles, crystal layers and composites with sizes ranging from nm to cm. By controlling the atmosphere, we have also fabricated (oxy)nitride and (oxy)sulfide crystals. Recently, we have been developing various crystals for environmental and energy devices.
