SnO2 has drawn much attention as a promising candidate of transparent electrode because of high optical transparency in the visible region, eco-friendly compositional elements, and high carrier mobility. However, there have been no studies about the thermoelectric properties. In this study, we develop epitaxial SnO2 films on various kinds of substrates, and also investigate their thermoelectric properties. Furtheremore, by characterizing the device performance, we show the potentiality of SnO2 film as a thermoelectric material.
