Microneedles made of polymeric materials are attracting attention as a minimally invasive transdermal drug delivery technology in the medical field from the viewpoint of safety. In order to achieve minimally invasive penetration, the microneedles need to have a small root diameter and a small load required for penetration. In this study, we first investigated the optimal microneedle shape for skin implantation using elasto-plastic deformation analysis. After that, the actual molded microneedles were evaluated for skin penetration, and the validity of the analysis results was verified.
