[11a-N102-1] Dependence of resonance modes on cavity size for stadium-shaped cavity

The optical ray confined in the stadium-shaped cavity exhibits fully chaotic motion. One can obtain wave chaotic modes having complicated electro-magnetic field distribution when the cavity size is much larger than the resonance wavelength. In this work, the dependence of resonance modes on the cavity size for the stadium-shaped cavity was studied numerically by the finite element method.
