To improve the efficiency of solar cells (PV), PVTE, which is a combination of PV and thermoelectric devices, has been proposed. Our proposed heat recovery solar cell (HERC) is another thermoelectric application in PV, and its theory leads to a two-terminal series PVTE.
The HERC theory is expected to be useful for the prospect of four-terminal devices and two-terminal parallel devices.
