In order to clarify the growth mechanism of lead methyl ammonium iodide perovskite (MAPbI3), we have been studying the formation of MAPbI3 by alternate laser deposition of PbI2 and CH3NH3I (MAI) as source materials. In this study, we report on the phenomenon that the difference of a unit layer thickness in the alternate deposition process causes a remarkable change in the decomposition tolerance.
