This research aims to enhance the functionality of graphene nanoribbons (GNR) using the unzip (UZ) method of double-walled carbon nanotubes (DWNT). DWNT's UZ method can obtain a GNR with few defects, and at the same time, it can modify the UZ agent at the end of the GNR. However, there are problems such as the amount of GNR obtained is small and the amount of UZ agents reported is small. We have found a new highly efficient UZ agent. Furthermore, by comparing the found UZ agents, we considered organic compounds that are effective for UZ.
