[12a-N106-1] Thermal rectification in graphene nanoribbons with a triangular array of V-shaped defects

Keywords:Thermal conductivity

By arranging multiple V-shaped defects in a triangular pattern, the scattering frequency of phonons is expected to be significantly different depending on the direction. By introducing these structural defects into graphene nanoribbons with high thermal conductivity, the thermal rectification effect was investigated by non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations, and high rectification efficiency was obtained. In this talk, we describe the details of our systematic investigation of the dependence of the defects on various parameters such as size, location, and the average temperature of the system.
