Recent advancement of visual technology for analyzing convection enables precise evaluation of the effect of laminar and turbulent flows around an object. However, the spatial resolution is limited to hundreds of micrometers due to the Brownian motion in the micrometer scale. Here we develop a micrometer-scale liquid droplet laser oscillator that can precisely detect the microscopic convection.
