[12a-N221-1] [Highlight]Performance verification of CMOS image sensor and development of high-speed readout system for cosmic soft X-ray observation

In this study, we evaluated the spectroscopic performance of the CMOS image sensor ''GSENSE400BSI" in the soft X-ray band, and succeeded in clearly detecting low-energy X-rays such as Al-Kα (1.5 keV) and Mn-Kα (5.9 keV). We also developed a very compact high-speed readout system for real-time X-ray event extraction from image data using FPGA, and verified its operation.
