We developed/improved an injection-seeded terahertz parametric generator (is-TPG) and terahertz parametric detector to achieve nondestructive testing using terahertz waves. Real-time spectroscopy was achieved by introducing multi-wavelength generation or fast wavelength switching, high dynamic range imaging of more than 80 dB was possible using multi-stage terahertz parametric detector, and high-precision identification was realized by introducing machine learning.
