反応性イオンエッチング（RIE）では、高アスペクト比加工のため、RFパワー増加により、パーツ消耗が激しく交換頻度が増加している。イオンの角度依存性に着目し、上部電極のガス穴側壁を垂直形状にする方法を検討した。プラズマ溶射の入射角度によって、ガス放出穴側壁部の堆積量が異なり、溶射角度が50°のとき、表面およびガス放出穴側壁部に均等に堆積することがわかった。
