[12p-N203-2] Textured growth of Co-Fe-Ga alloy films via topotactic transformation from highly oriented precursor

Keywords:Co-Fe-Ga alloy, Topotactic transformation, Textured growth

Textured growth and magnetic properties of Co-Fe-Ga (CFG) alloy thin films prepared by co-precipitation, low temperature heat treatment at 333 K for 3 days, spin-coating and annealing processes, have been investigated. XRD results indicate that the CFG alloy films have high (110)-orientation. The presence of similar ion and atomic arrangements in the precursor, oxide, and CFGalloy phases suggests that the mechanism for the formation of highly oriented CFGalloy films possesses topotactic transformation.
