ZnMnGaO4 films were fabricated using pulsed laser deposition. The nanocheckerboard structure was formed by the post annealing, and the nanostructure was observed using transmission electron microscopy. Based on the results, the formation mechanism of the nanocheckerboard structure is discussed.
