COVID-19 is caused by the binding of S-protein on the surface of SARS-CoV-2 to a receptor protein on the surface of the cell membrane of human cells, and by the fusion of the virus outer membrane with human cell membrane. Currently, PCR method used for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 is difficult to detect in situ, and ELISA method, one of the representative antigen tests, requires to improve the rapid and sensitive detection. In this study, we aimed to develop a new rapid and sensitive antigen test for S-protein with a plasmonic chip device in which the enhanced fluorescence is expected.
