In high-capacity and highly reliable wireless communication system, security is an important issue. Signal travels in free space in wireless communication, so there is a risk that the signal will be intercepted. As a countermeasure against interception, our group proposed a high-security wireless communication system using terahertz waves generated by photomixing and confirmed its operation in the 300 GHz band. This time, we devised a new decoding method and carry out the principle confirmation at low-frequency.
