[13a-N202-5] Resolution Limit of Biomedical Optical Microscopy ~from classic to cutting edge~
Keywords:Image formation theory
Since an emergence of laser, diverse optical microscopy has been developed. Many of the current microscopy surpass the diffraction limit. Although microscopy that employ the lowest order interaction cannot break the diffraction limit, microscopy with high order interactions including fluorescence enable super-resolution. In this talk, we show that the type of interaction determines the resolution limit by returning to a fundamental principle.
