Dusubstituted polyacetylene with liquid crystallinity and luminescence was synthesized. This polymer has more workability than unsubstitued polyacetylene. Electromagnetic properties were investigated. Soliton excitation was shown in the polaron, carriers of the polymer. This is the first result of substituted polyacetylene.
