The conversion of CO2 into useful substances such as basic chemicals using electricity as an energy source from renewable energy sources is expected to be one of the ways to reduce CO2 emissions. In this study, we have developed a catalyst and system that can stably produce basic chemicals such as C2H4 directly from CO2 and H2O by electrochemical reduction method under low temperature and low pressure conditions using electric power.
