[22a-P02-8] Measurement of Electric characteristics of Layered Carbon Nitride Films

Layered Carbon Nitride (CN), a two-dimensional layer of carbon and nitrogen sheet, has photocatalytic property. It is expected as a new two-dimensional semiconductor material with a bandgap of 2.8 eV. CN can be synthesized by thermal condensation of melamine. CN films with a high layer orientation can be obtained by thermal chemical vapor deposition. IV curve of the CN film deposited on a n-Si wafer shows a rectification curve, suggesting that the contact of CN and n-Si has a certain energy barrier.
