[22a-P06-11] Structural analysis of water-in-salt/solid interfaces by qPlus AFM
Keywords:qPlus sensor, water-in-salt, AFM
A concentrated aqueous solution with a high salt concentration is called water-in-salt (WiS). Its properties are different from those of ordinary aqueous solutions, and it is attracting attention as novel functional electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries. In this study, we report the results of qPlus AFM analysis of solvation structures at the interface between WiS and solids. 0.3 nm and 1.3 nm spacing solvation structures were identified for LiCl-WiS and LiTFSI-WiS, respectively. From the Raman spectra of LiCl-WiS and LiTFSI-WiS, it is possible that the results of bulk aqueous solution analysis correspond to the results of interfacial solvation structure by qPlus AFM.
