Metal halide perovskites have gathered great attention due to their potential applications in optoelectronics. To enhance the performances of perovskite devices, we have focused on the epitaxial growth of all perovskite single-crystalline heterostructures by vacuum evaporation. However, we suffered from halide ion interdiffusion. By coevaporation of PbI2 and MAI on MAPbBr3 single crystals, we only obtained Br-rich MAPb(BrI)3 alloy epitaxial thin films. To suppress the diffusion, we replaced the thin film cations with FA and coevaporated FAI and PbI2 on MAPbBr3 single crystals. We obtained an I-rich thin film and the halide ion interdiffusion was partially suppressed. The epitaxial nature of the obtained thin film will be discussed in the presentation.
