[17a-Z06-5] Comparison of Rutile and Anatase in photo-assisted H2 generation on TiO2 surfaces

Photo-assisted H2 generation rates on rutile are so much different from those on anatase. We have tried to clarify theoretically the photo-assisted H2 generation processes on rutie. The H migration processes before H2 generation precursor have been found to be slower in comparison with anatase becasue the polaron state is relativelly lower. We will also report on the difference of elementary processes on H2 generation.
