[17p-Z01-4] Structural biology research of SPring-8 / SACLA tackling drug discovery

Masaki YAMAMOTO1 (1.RIKEN SPring-8)

Keywords:Structural biology, Protein Crystallography, Synchrotron Radiation

In the development of therapeutic drugs for many diseases including infectious diseases, "Structure Based Drug Design (SBDD)" has become an important modern method. Therefore, protein crystallography of synchrotron radiation plays the most important role in drug discovery research. We will present the efforts of protein crystallography tackling for high-difficulty targets at the SPring-8 and protein structure dynamics research at the X-ray free electron laser SACLA.
