[17p-Z17-3] Seebeck coefficient of metal nano-contacts prepared by electromigration

In order to clarify the thermal and electronic characteristics of nanoscale junctions between metal electrodes, we have developed a microscale device to measure the electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and Seebeck coefficient of metal nano-contacts. Large Seebeck coefficient rise was confirmed in the process of preparing the metal nano-contact from a thin metal wire at room temperature.
