To enhance the performance of thermoelectric generators, we employed Ag2S-based materials which are characterized by a structure phase transition from insulating low temperature phase to metallic high temperature phase. We consider that this characteristic together with bottom heat conifiguration would lead to very large ZT in the same manner with the extremenly large ZT reported for Cu2Se. Also I considered that Cu doping allowed us to control the working temperature. As a result, I succeeded obtaining high ZT(>20) for 40 K range, and decreasing the characteristic temperature by about 100 K with Cu doping.
