△ [17p-Z24-12] Precise control of emission wavelength of perovskite quantum dots by crystal lattice distortion
Keywords:Perovskite quantum dots, Cation mix, Formamidinium lead bromide
Green-emissive perovskite quantum dots (PeQDs) have attracted attention due to their excellent optical properties, e.g. high photoluminescence quantum yield and high color purity. Despite their optical properties, precise control of green-emissive wavelength (λPL) of PeQDs could not be achieved, resulting in issues that are difficult to prepare PeQDs having an ideal green-emissive wavelength of 532 nm required by BT. 2100. Although λPL significantly changes due to “control of hybrid orbitals” and “crystal lattice strain” by mixing B and/or X site of PeQDs, in other words, it is shown impossible to precise control of λPL.
To solve these issues, A site mixed PeQDs were prepared. In this system, it is expected to eliminate the effect of “control of hybrid orbitals”. As a result, λPL of PeQDs can be precisely controlled by only changing “crystal lattice strain”, and green-emissive PeQDs with λPL 532 nm were successfully prepared.
