We are developing a small-size X-ray CCD camera for space applicaition. We has been constructed a ground evaluation system, and investigated a spectroscpic performance for small-size X-ray CCD, manufactured by Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. in cooling condition of -60 degree. As a result, the spectrum from single pixel event shows that a lower detectable energy threshold (LD) is around 1.2 keV and obtained energy resolution for 5.9 keV(Mn-K) X-rays is 254eV at FWHM( full width at half maximu).
