CaAl₂O₄:Ce³⁺ は安定性が高く、近紫外から青紫領域でのブロードな発光を示す蛍光体として知られている。また、CaAl₂O₄:Dy³⁺ は複数の波長域に発光を示すことから白色発光を示す。二つの希土類を共添加することにより、Ce³⁺が吸収したエネルギーをDy³⁺へエネルギー遷移させることで、白色発光特性を向上できると期待される。本研究では、CaAl₂O₄: Ce³⁺, Dy³⁺蛍光体の発光特性について評価する。
