波面制御技術と暗視野顕微鏡技術を用いて，計測試料の大きな位相遅れ分布と小さな位相遅れ分布を別々に計測することで，撮像素子で検出可能な光量制限に伴う光のショットノイズで制限される従来の定量位相顕微鏡の位相検出限界を超える高感度定量位相顕微鏡を実現した．
