Two-photon photoacoustic microscopy is used to diagnose non-invasive depth of melanoma. The problem with this microscope is that even in a minute space where two-photon absorption occurs, the spatial resolution is reduced by the one-photon photoacoustic wave. In order to solve this problem, we proposed a method for selectively detecting two-photon photoacoustic waves by changing the optical pulse energy and removing one photoacoustic wave, and verified the principle.
