Keywords:saturable absorber, dissipative Kerr soliton

Although dissipative Kerr soliton can be generated by injecting a continuous wave into a microresonator and sweeping its wavelength from short to long, the number of solitons is random because they are generated from a chaotic state. And there are cases where no solitons are formed. In this study, we propose adding a saturable absorber to the microresonator. Our numerical analysis shows that the number of solitons is higher when the saturable absorber is applied.
