筆者らはプラズマを用いた植物細胞への新しい分子導入技術を研究しており、双子葉植物のタバコカルスへCas9およびsgRNAを導入し、ゲノム編集に成功している[1]。イネやムギなどの単子葉植物は遺伝子組換えやゲノム編集が困難であり、新しい分子・遺伝子導入法が求められている。本研究では、単子葉植物のイネ科モデル植物であるミナトカモジグサカルスを用いて単子葉植物へのプラズマ分子導入法の有効性を検証した。
