Keywords:plasma gene transfection, circuit network analysis, electrical factor

We have been developing a method of plasma gene transfection that uses microdischarge plasma and is highly efficient, minimally invasive, and safe. Electrical and chemical factors collectively work to gene transfection process. In this study, by means of circuit network analysis, we tried specifying what the major factor is in the electrical factors. We compared the obtained results with the typical values of active potential or current during membrane transport; the result suggests the major electrical factor is current.
