Keywords:piezoelectric tactile sensor, electrical double layer transistor

Currently, wearable healthcare devices such as electronic skin (e-skin) are highly demanded for various fields. In particular, the development of tactile sensors is required for high performance of e-skin. Herein, we developed a tactile sensor with a new structure based on biomimetics. The tactile sensor was fabricated using piezoelectric materials and electrical double layer field-effect transistors (EDLT). The fabricated tactile sensor can be applied to low power consumption e-skin by using a matrix. In the presentation, the concept, fabrication method and evaluation results of EDLT and the tactile sensor will be discussed.
