Keywords:rose petals, adhesive water repellency, nanoimprint

Rose petals have both high water repellency and adhesiveness to water droplets, and are expected to be applied to droplet control and other applications. Its surface consists of a hierarchical structure of micro and nano structures. In this study, microstructures were fabricated using photolithography on a nanostructured moth-eye mold, and the wettability of the transfer film was investigated. With this method, the size and design of the microstructure can be easily changed by modifying the photomask design.
