[20a-C301-2] Development of an FTIR spectrometer for live single-cell measurement

Toward a live single-cell classifier with infrared absorption spectra under a water environment, we developed a tabletop broadband FTIR spectrometer with a spectral bandwidth of 800-3150 cm-1 running at a rate of 20 spectra/s. We obtained a spectrum of a fixed cell under a water environment with an SNR of ~700 in a measurement time of 50 s. The developed spectrometer can be used for, e.g., fast and label-free pathological diagnosis.
