▲ [20a-C304-3] Analyzing Strain and Doping in Monolayer Graphene Wrinkles by Tip-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy
Keywords:strain, tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, graphene
In this work, we probed the strain distribution and charge doping in nanometer-sized monolayer graphene wrinkles using tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS) in ambient conditions. Through correlation analysis of the G and 2D Raman bands, we found that anisotropic stress and p-doping are dominant at the wrinkle. We also found that nanometer-sized domains can also form along the graphene wrinkle, exhibiting a similar behavior to flat graphene. This work shows that TERS is a powerful analytical tool to characterize miniscule features in graphene and can be applied to other layered nanomaterials.
