[20p-B101-11] Theoretical Analysis of Material Parameter Dependence of the Ballistic Switching Region in an In-Plane Anisotropic Nano Magnet

The ballistic reversal in which a magnetization switches through the large-amplitude precessional motion induced by applying a pico-second pulse field perpendicular to the easy axis of uniaxial anisotropy has been studied experimetaly and theoretically. The extensive materical parameter dependences of a ballistic reversal region have been not yet sufficiently cleared. Here we report the macrospin LLG simulation results obtained by systematically varying the material parameters.
